The Greedy Dog Story in English
There was a greedy dog. One day, he stole a piece of meat
from a butcher shop. He ran with it to the stream.
When he was passing over the bridge, he saw his reflection
in the water.
He said to himself, “here is another dog with a bigger piece
of meat in his mouth. I must have this piece too.”
He opened his mouth to get the other piece. His piece of
meat fell into the water and lost.
Moral: Greed is a curse.
