The thirsty crow story in English
Once there was a crow. He was very thirsty. He flew here and
there in search of water. He saw a pitcher in a garden. There was a little
water in it.
The beak of the crow could not reach the water. The crow
began to think. Some pebbles were lying nearby.
The crow took up the pebbles in his beak and threw them into
the pitcher one by one. Thus, the water rose.
The crow drank the water and flew away.
Moral: God helps those who help themselves
