Truthfulness
is the greatest and most important of all human virtues. Truthfulness means
habitually telling the truth. A true man never lies. He does not lie even in
jest.
Truthfulness
is essential to building a person's character. A person who does not have a
good character is not loved by anyone. Therefore, we should always speak the
truth. If we are all liars, our society cannot survive.
A true man
keeps his word. So, people rely on what he says. They give him responsible
work. A true man has a strength of mind. He is not afraid of anyone.
A true man
succeeds in business. He may be poor, but he lives a peaceful and happy life
because he knows that he is pure in his mind and that he is right.
Indeed, the
word of a true man has great value. Sometimes his words carry more weight than property
documents. On the other hand, a true man has a clear conscience and does not fear
anyone.
So his mind
is free from the anxiety that constantly haunts the liar. Even his enemies
respect him, and that respect is more important than any precious jewels.
As truth is
a great virtue. Everyone hates a liar. No one believes it. He may get success
for a short time but in the long run, he will have to suffer.
No one helps
a liar. They do not give him any responsible work. He cannot shine in business.
A liar does not live a peaceful life. He is always afraid that no one will find
out.
He knows he
is not doing any good by lying. We all know the story of the shepherd boy. He always
tells a lie. As a result, he became the cause of his death due to telling a lie.
Today's
society places a lot of value on telling the truth. Truth serves as the
foundation of a just society. Broadly speaking, truth has two aspects: being
true to others and being true to oneself. The two are not entirely the same
thing. However, they are closely related.
True people
think of themselves better. They know their strengths and weaknesses, and their
successes and failures do not deceive them. Truth helps people express their
true selves and reveal who they are. This helps them to be accurate in their
descriptions of themselves and others and to keep any promises or commitments.
